Animation and Medical Illustration

Astute's talented staff of highly-trained medical illustrators and animators have developed a wide range of material from still medical illustrations for printed pieces to 2-D and 3-D animations and medical training games for Web sites. We have created patient education illustrations and animations for such diseases as diabetes, asthma, GERD, hypertension, and depression. Some of these instruct users on how to use medical equipment or what causes their disease, while others show how medications work and what effect they have on the body. We also develop interactive activities that allow users to learn by being involved in the experience. For example, we created an interactive game to instruct patients on how to minimize asthma triggers in their homes ("Ease the Wheeze") and another to instruct how Hepatitis affects the liver ("HepaChallenge").
