Description

Conference.CAST™ is Astute Technology's broadcast technology to distribute audio, video, and synchronized presentation materials over the Internet. Conference.CAST™ extends the reach of training programs, educational events, seminars, lectures, and public interest events across the World Wide Web (public and/or private). It allows organizations to have a lasting, interactive archive of events that will continue to reach audiences long after its conclusion. Events then become more than a one-time occurrence, they become a source for ongoing education and information that people can visit again and again.

Three core levels of Conference.CAST™:

Conference.CAST™ Basic (audio/video only): An economical method of distributing audio and/or video information via the Internet by converting traditional broadcast media into an Web-based format available "on demand" to users around the world. The broadcast can be optimized for any Internet connection speed.
Conference.CAST™ (audio and slides): A streamed presentation including the audio and synchronized presentation materials providing an exact duplication of the live event. Visitors can immediately access any portion of the presentation through the Conference.CAST™ interface, which provides a flexible indexing and audio control system. Visitors not only hear the complete presentation, but also see detailed presentation material - critical for full understanding of any highly technical presentation. Additionally, users can enlarge the slides to gain a better understanding of complex graphs and charts. Conference.CAST™ offers on-demand access to any portion of the presentation thereby allowing users to begin a presentation on one day and complete it on another without relistening to any material.
Conference.CAST™ Plus (audio, slides, and video): Conference.CAST™ Plus brings the added element of streaming video to Conference.CAST™. This service offers on-demand access to any portion of the presentation, utilizing an indexing utility and audio/video controls, but with the added benefit of viewing the presenter through streaming video, synchronized with both the audio and presentation materials.
