Astute Technology has provided two redesigns for the ACC.org Web site. Along with the redesign efforts, we developed many of their database applications. We are currently hosting and maintaining the Web site and continuing to develop new applications.

During 2003, we developed an interactive CME web initiative entitled the Blended Learning Community. This unique Web site, combined interactive learning tools, including live webcasts, archived webcasts, case studies, reference material, pre-tests, and CME tests as well as the opportunity for participants to interact and communicate with featured speakers and other professional colleagues. Included in the development was a complex tracking system for this initiative which produced detailed reports on almost every aspect of the web site via a secure, online administrative module. This initiative provided ACC with non-dues revenue as well as providing registrants with the potential to earn CME credit.

As part of our continuing relationship with ACC, we are currently developing a Board Review CD set. The CD will be designed by Astute and contain over 20 hours of presentations, CME accreditation information, and a CME test and evaluation that users can print and return to ACC.
