Torsten Koehler, Vice President of Technology

Mr. Koehler received his Master of Science degree in Information Systems with Certification in Software System Engineering from George Mason University in May 1997. Prior to this, he worked for a NATO Project Management Office where he was responsible for the software requirements management of five nations. Currently, Mr. Koehler oversees the software development and business operations at Astute Technology. He manages the software development process and leads research and development efforts. He is responsible for selecting proper system architectures and choosing the right technologies for technical projects. Mr. Koehler successfully completed various projects himself, including a significant client-server project that provides doctors with a customized browser in order to facilitate web access to sites of interest. Most notably, however, was his leading role in building the HealthAnswers' HealthCenter product line.
